I joined the sole software team in Europe working on a mainframe Operating System. This gave me also the opportunity to enhance my professional IT skills by receiving high level IT education delivered by SUPELEC, INRIA.
Pre-sales engineer – TERADATA 08/1987 – 10/1989
TERADATA: direct technical contributor to the 8 initial European dataware houses’ sales (TERADATA is a massive parallel hardware relational database) until the end of the OEM agreement for Bull GCOS8. Manage technical issues with Phoenix and Los Angeles R&D teams and provide field feedback.
Mainframe Operating Software engineer 03/1986 – 07/1987
Honeywell Bull GCOS7: tests and debugging of a new paged and segmented OS release. Daily relations with NEC support engineers, coming from Japan.
